Advanced Minimal Access Surgery Training - General Surgeons

The Advanced Minimal Access Surgery Training program for General Surgeons is crafted to offer advanced instruction in Fellowship and Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery invasive surgical techniques. This course is designed to elevate the proficiency of general surgeons in utilizing laparoscopic and endoscopic methods across a spectrum of surgical procedures.

Comprising both theoretical and hands-on components within an actual operating theater, the course covers lectures and real-case presentations for theoretical training. Practical training involves immersive experience in executing minimally invasive surgeries, guided by seasoned surgeons.

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will possess the requisite skills and knowledge to independently conduct minimally invasive surgeries. They will also be adept at managing complex cases and handling complications associated with these procedures.

The training in Minimal Access Surgery Training  for General Surgeons is designed to provide advanced training to general surgeons in the techniques of minimally invasive surgery. The course aims to enhance the skills of general surgeons in the use of laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques for various surgical procedures.

The course is typically  includes both theoretical and Hands-on training in Real OT. The theoretical training includes lectures, and real case presentations, while the practical training includes hands-on experience in performing minimally invasive surgeries under the guidance of experienced surgeons.

Upon completion of the training, participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge required to perform minimally invasive surgeries independently. They will also be able to handle complex cases and manage complications associated with these procedures.

Training in Minimal Access Surgery for General Surgeons is designed to provide comprehensive training in the use of laparoscopy  in general surgeries. The course aims to impart hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge of minimal access surgery to general surgeons who wish to enhance their surgical skills.

Course Duration: The program is offered every month, running for five days.

Eligibility criteria mandate possession of a Master’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in laparoscopic surgery.

When it comes to surgical procedures, the lead surgeon is in charge of ensuring that everything goes smoothly. This includes not only the actual surgical process but also the training of any assistants who will be helping out in the operating room.

Patient safety is always the top priority during surgical procedures. As such, the lead surgeon must take every precaution necessary to ensure that the assistant is fully prepared and capable of performing their duties. This may include providing additional training or supervision as needed.

Ultimately, hands-on training under the guidance of a skilled lead surgeon can be an incredibly valuable experience for aspiring surgical assistants. It allows them to gain the necessary skills and confidence needed to excel in their role while also ensuring that patient safety remains the top priority at all times.

It appears that there are 10 seats available per batch in minimal access surgery for General Surgeons.
This means that in each batch, 10 General Surgeons can be accepted into the program to receive training in minimal access surgery techniques. 

Completing a training program and passing certification exams can be a valuable way to demonstrate your expertise in a specific field. For those interested in minimal access surgery, earning the  FMAS (Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery) can be an excellent way to validate their knowledge and skillset.

To get the certification it requires completing a comprehensive training program that includes both theoretical and practical components, followed by an MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) exam and a written exam.

For Indian doctors, the course fee for the 5 days program is 1,20,000/-, 
The course fee includes the cost of tuition, training materials, and other related expenses. 

For International doctors, the course fee is applicable in US dollars.
The fee for the 5 days program is 2500 dollars,

The registration process involves two steps,

    Step 1: Paying the Registration Fee To reserve your seat in the course, you need to pay a booking fee of INR 10,000/- and USD 157 for International doctors. This fee ensures that your spot is secured and will not be given to someone else.

    You can pay the booking fee online or in-person at our Institute. If you choose to pay online, you can use our secure payment gateway to complete the transaction. Once you have paid the Registration fee, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details.

    Step 2: Paying the Admission Fee On the day of joining the course, you need to pay the admission fee. This fee covers the cost of the course materials, training sessions, and any other resources required for the course. The admission fee is due on the day of the course, and failure to pay it will result in the cancellation of your booking.

Hostels are budget-friendly accommodations that provide shared dormitory-style rooms for travelers to sleep and interact with other travelers. Hostel facilities typically provide basic amenities such as bunk beds or single beds, lockers for personal belongings, attached bathrooms, and dining area.

You can find a hostel room with a price of Rs. 1500 ($ 20) per day that includes your stay & electricity bill as well as 3 time meal Breakfast, lunch and Dinner.
