What is The Medicity?
The Medicity is an advanced medical and surgical training institute with two centres: Gurugram (Delhi NCR), India and Dubai, UAE. Doctors and nurses from India, the Gulf and beyond train with us through hands-on fellowships, diplomas and master's-level programmes in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, IVF, endoscopy, ultrasound and neurosurgery. Our senior AIIMS-lineage faculty, led by Padma Shri Dr (Prof) Alka Kriplani, teach in small batches so every doctor gets real dry lab, wet lab and live OT experience.
Which courses does The Medicity offer?
Laparoscopic training in India (FMAS, DMAS and Master's in Minimal Access Surgery), hysteroscopy, IVF and reproductive medicine, GI endoscopy, clinical ultrasound and neurosurgery fellowships.
How long is the laparoscopic fellowship?
The Fellowship / Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery runs for 28 days: 14 days of online learning followed by 14 days of hands-on training in the dry lab, wet lab and live operating theatre.
How much hands-on exposure do doctors get?
Live OT sessions are limited to up to 6 doctors at a time, so each participant gets close observation and assisted practice.
Who teaches at The Medicity?
Senior faculty with decades of experience in Indian medicine, many with AIIMS backgrounds, including Padma Shri Dr (Prof) Alka Kriplani.
Can international doctors join?
Yes. Doctors from India, the Gulf and many other countries train with The Medicity. With centres in both Gurugram and Dubai, UAE and GCC-based doctors can enrol and get support close to home.
