About Dr. Kriplani

Padmashree Dr. (Prof.) Alka Kriplani is a renowned obstetrician and gynecologist in India, known for her expertise in laparoscopic surgery, infertility, and high-risk pregnancies. Born on 8th March 1956 in Delhi, she completed her medical education at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

She is esteemed for her exceptional proficiency in addressing a wide spectrum of gynecological concerns. Her commitment to patient care, coupled with her extensive academic knowledge, has made her one of the most respected names in Indian obstetrics and gynaecology — and now, one of the pillars of The Medicity's faculty.

Dr. Kriplani is a pioneer in laparoscopic surgery and has performed numerous complex procedures using this technique. She has published extensively in national and international medical journals and presented her work at conferences and workshops worldwide, shaping how minimal access gynaecological surgery is taught and practiced in India today.
