Dr. (Prof.) Manmohan Singh, brings over 25 years of exceptional experience in neurosurgery. His distinguished career includes serving as a Professor of Neurosurgery and leading the Gamma Knife Centre at AIIMS, New Delhi.

Dr. Singh is celebrated as one of India’s top neurovascular and skull base surgeons, with specialized expertise in treating tumors of the cavernous sinus. His skills also encompass radiosurgery of the brain and deep brain stimulation for movement disorders. Dr. Singh’s commitment to excellence is underscored by numerous accolades, including the Silver Medal of First Order for topping the M.S. (Surgery) exam at PGIMER-Chandigarh and delivering prestigious orations at esteemed institutions like IPGM&R, Kolkata.

Born on October, 1972, Dr. Singh graduated from Government Medical College, Amritsar, in 1993, and completed his internship there in 1994. He earned his M.S. in Surgery from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, in 1997, receiving the Silver Medal for his outstanding performance. He then served as a Senior Resident in General Surgery at PGIMER before pursuing an MCh in Neurosurgery at AIIMS, completing the program in May 2002.

Dr. Singh subsequently joined AIIMS as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery in June 2003.

His primary areas of interest include skull base surgery, vascular surgery, brachial plexus surgery, neuro-oncology, and spinal surgery.

Research Project:

1.       Principal investigator in ongoing international multicentric multinational trial: CRASH-2 (A large randomized placebo controlled trail among trauma patients with or at risk of significant haemorrhage, of the effect of antifibrinolytic treatment on death and transfusion requirement)

                       Till now have enrolled 21 patients

2.     AP12009-G004 in Recurrent Grade III-IV glioma-A multinational           and multicentric double blind  randomized trial.  Sponsored by Antisense Pharma-Germany. Period Dec. 2003 – June 2006 Mahapatra AK, Julka PK, Suri A, Kale SS, Singh Manmohan
