Best ultrasound training Centre - Online Ultrasound course in India | The Medicity

During the last decades, the use of ultrasound training became increasingly common in medical practice and hospitals around the world, and a large number of scientific publications reported the benefit along with the superiority of the technique of ultrasonography over commonly used X-ray techniques, resulting in significant changes in diagnostic imaging procedures. With the increasing use of ultrasonography in medical settings, the need for education and training became essential.

The Medicity took up this challenge in 2021 and published its first ultrasound training courses in India. Soon, however, rapid developments and improvements were made despite the Covid pandemic, and online ultrasound training courses were introduced in equipment and thus The Medicity has grabbed the position to be the best Institute of Ultrasound Training. Established in September 2021, today the name of Medicity is included among one of the top ultrasound training institutes in India.

We have a group of expert professionals who provide the best online ultrasound courses, well-known for their publications and experiences regarding the clinical use of ultrasound, and have substantial experience in the field of teaching of ultrasonography in both developed and developing countries. These online ultrasound courses in India are intended for anyone with an interest in ultrasound, its technological background, and its applications in clinical practice. Medical students and ultrasound professionals may also find this course helpful. If you already have additional knowledge or experience in the technical aspects of medical applications of ultrasound, it may take you less time to complete the course. In these training courses, you will be able to explore ultrasound imaging in detail and explore the various capabilities of ultrasound devices and different types of courses and programs which are available at The Medicity. However, it is not necessary to have an ultrasonic device on hand as we are providing all the courses in online mode. The medical diagnostic ultrasound program is heavily based on anatomy, so students are encouraged to take full-time online courses. Our online platform in collaboration with various medical institutes offers several hands-on ultrasound training courses. The following are mentioned below along with their course description-

OB/GYN Ultrasound Course

The technique of ultrasound was introduced into the practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology over four decades ago, and along the way, its impact has risen exponentially to a point where it is very important even for a low risk, uncomplicated, patient to make it through pregnancy without having at least two ultrasound examinations and a high-risk patient to have less than four scans, most important is the pivotal role ultrasound plays in our obstetrical decision-making and GYN one rarely hangs one's hat on a diagnosis made by a pelvic exam alone. The introduction of ultrasound to obstetrics and gynecology has made a tremendous impact on patient care as it allowed imaging of the fetus and the placenta in obstetrics and examination of the maternal internal organs in gynecology with such clarity to allow advanced diagnosis and also to guide various life-saving interventions. During the course, the physical principles of ultrasound is very important to understand  which is essential for a basic knowledge of instrument control and also for understanding the safety and bioeffects of this technology.

OB/GYN Ultrasound Course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of its advanced applications. OB/GYN topics include extensive discussion for Detailed Fetal Anatomy Scan, fetal head anatomy, multiple gestation risks, and evaluation, and how to approach abnormal ultrasound findings. The online training along with lectures are presented using PowerPoint, still-frame images, and video cases. The focus of this online course is to educate students and practicing surgeons on the fundamentals of the ObGyn Ultrasound practice. The course of OB/GYN ultrasound is divided by trimester and delivered over multiple platforms. The objectives of this course are-

  1. To increase knowledge and confidence to perform OB/GYN Ultrasound.
  2. To list new additions to AIUM guidelines for OB detailed anatomy examinations.
  3. To recognize landmarks used in the assessment of intracranial anatomy.
  4. To list risk factors associated with multiple gestations.
  5. To outline additional imaging required to assess multiple gestations.
  6. To identify a systematic approach for assessing fetal anomalies.
  7. The course covers material including
  8. Image Orientation and scan lab basics
  9. To be able to study normal pelvic anatomy including imaging of the uterus, endometrium, cervix, and ovaries
  10. The 1st-trimester examination
  11. The 2nd-trimester growth and anatomy scan
  12. The 3rd-trimester examination
