Obstetricians and gynecologists provide complete care for women from the time they first get their period until after menopause. These could be used to treat a variety of illnesses that affect women, such as abnormal bleeding, vaginal infections, neoplasms, and other issues that are particular to women's lives, as well as delivering babies and controlling any periportal issues that may occur. Despite the fact that the number of specialists in this sector has increased dramatically, many hospitals and institutions still fail to provide adequate women's healthcare.
More physicians from other disciplines would need to step in to handle the complexities of women's health issues and become directors of multidisciplinary clinics or programmes that cover the entire spectrum of women's health to close this gap. Unfortunately, many of these doctors' knowledge and abilities are lacking due to a lack of exposure to women's health throughout medical school or residency.
This course also caters to practitioners who would like to provide better care to female patients in their respective fields.
